How the Refugee System is Working

The eight processing stations for incoming refugees in the US are all closed. Forty-six states with multiple municipalities have been resettling refugees. Afghan refugees have all arrived at their resettlement locations.  However, the system was overwhelmed from the start and has become more so with the arrival of Ukrainian refugees. Many Afghan refugees remain in temporary housing, which makes finding work and establishing their families in communities difficult. A helping hand and some guidance are all many of the Commandos, aviators and their families need.

46 States Are Receiving Refugees for settlement:

The four that are not are Hawaii, South Dakota, West Virginia and Wyoming
